Google Chrome is one of the most popular browsers today. Even I am also a big fan of it for keeping in mind the features it provides and the variety of extensions or more commonly the add-ons for making the development and designing job much simpler than before.

Some of these extensions worked even better than expected results. Here I am posting a list of top 10 Google Chrome add-ons for developers that worked great for me.

1--> Pendule

Pendule is one of the most wanted chrome add-on for developers and is very much similar to the web developer tool of Firefox. It is best to work with forms, style-sheets, Html, images and have a vast collection of some really good developing tools for picking color, ruler etc.

This is basically similar to the very famous Mozilla Firefox add-on MeasureIt, which is now made available for Chrome users also for measurement purposes.

It allows you to sketch a ruler across a web-page so as to measure the factors like height, width and alignment of the elements present on the webpage.

It discovers the issues caused by CSS style elements, DOM event management, JavaScript parsing & execution etc. This tool would also help you fix the issue related to the speed of the web pages.

5--> Firebug Lite

At first instance, Firebug Lite seems an alternative to the Firebug but it’s somewhat different. It offers the visual representation feature just like Firebug for DOM and HTML elements etc. Along with this, it also adds some more features to the list such as live editing of Cascading Style Sheets or CSS, keeping a check on HTML elements and a lot more.

6--> Picnik

To make uploading and editing photos easy to Picnic, Chrome has made available this add-on. You can simply take a snapshot of any webpage while surfing the web and can perform editing on these snapshots immediately. It supports many image formats like gif, jpg, png, tiff, bmp etc.

The best part of this plug-in is that you can now work on your project from anywhere in the world using any computer.
